На основе Индекса торговой деятельности базы данных Trade Competitiveness Map Международного торгового центра ВТО изучены сравнительные конкурентные преимущества секторов производства Мексики и России. Показано, что Россия имеет больше конкурентных преимуществ по четырем относительным экспортно-импортным характеристикам и двум показателям диверсификации в сырьевых и капиталоемких секторах. Паритет между обоими странами наблюдался в секторах: электронные компоненты, одежда, IT & потребительская электроника.
