The article is devoted to the analysis of the possibilities of the educational subject "Geography" in the professional orientation of students. The content of geography covers a variety of topics: nature, population and economy of the Earth, which opens up a wide range of professions for students and provides great opportunities for self-determination. Career guidance in geography lessons should be structured systematically and purposefully in accordance with the work program, the innovations of modern education and taking into account the demands of the labor market of your region. The purpose of the study is to consider the possibility of using geography lessons as a platform for vocational guidance activities of students in order to activate the process of professional self-determination.

According to the authors of this article, in the crisis of twelve the teenager is not able to solve independently his internal problems, to cope with himself and control his behavior. The task of the teacher-psychologist is to identify in a proper time the problems of teenagers and to helpthem in solving their internal problems, for instance implementing a comprehensive program to support the teenager during the crisis, which will cover not only the work with a teenager, but also with his environment, teachers and parents.

In this work various models of development of personal and professional self-determination of rural school students are considered. First, the structurally functional model of development of personal and professional self-determination of rural school students is presented, the substantial part of model is described. Secondly, the mathematical model of development of personal and professional self-determination of rural school students in which components of educational space and specific features of rural school students are reflected is presented. Various positions in modeling are analyzed, and also author's vision of substantial part of structure of model is presented.

In this article various factors of the educational environment of rural school influencing development of personal and professional self-determination of seniors are considered. The author analyzes various theoretical positions of influence of the educational environment on formation of the personality, and also actions for development of personal and professional self-determination of seniors in the conditions of rural school are presented. Results of the forming experiment are presented in article, the following tasks are solved: formation of steady interest in a pedagogical profession; development of need for professional activity, receiving pleasure and satisfaction from pedagogical activity; formation of conviction in further choice of profession.
