We assumed: if the process of forming the research abilities of students in art lessons takes place under conditions of simultaneous influence of a number of circumstances that require adequate research behavior from students, then the factors determining this process should be understood as driving forces as a necessary condition determining its nature. And on this basis, we will carry out our search. We have identified a set of factors that affect the formation of research abilities of students in art lessons, it seems to us quite sufficient as an environment of pedagogical influence on students in the implementation of the goal.

The author devoted this article to the problem of coherent monologic speech development of 5–6 years children in the process of composing descriptive stories through mnemotables. To study this level, two tasks based on the technique of identifying the features of coherent speech development in preschool children of N.G. Smolnikova and E.A. Smirnova were used.
