In the work the problems of reflection, its role in the process of teaching foreign languages are considered. Correlation of reflection, self-estimation and motivation as the most important factor influencing the successful learning of a foreign language is reviewed. The author analyzes methodical technologies of the «language portfolio», gives examples of methods of reflection used as a methodological tool in the field of teaching foreign languages.

«People with chemical addiction and the features of their life orientations»
According to the author, modern rehabilitation facilities do not have psychological tool that helps people with chemical addictions to optimize their life orientations. The research methods: analysis of psychological literature on this subject; testing; method of mathematical data processing (Mann-Whitney U test, correlation analyses of data). Dependent persons have lowered indicators of reason to live and meaningful orientations. Their personal development is hampered because of a lower level of perception of the integral time of their life. They have higher level of such destructive orientations as confrontational coping, running away from a problem and higher level of constructive orientations – orientation on the solution of the problem, acceptance of responsibility and a positive reassessment of the situation. Sometimes constructive coping is associated with indicators related to the difficulties of personal development. Addicted persons’ tendency toward prosocial behavior is high. At the same time, the helping behavior is more pronounced, when the respondents believe in themselves and in people less. Based on the findings, the Program of Measures, accompanying the rehabilitation of dependent persons, has been compiled.

«Development of student’s ability to self-education in English classes»
The article looks into the ways of forming students’ ability to self-education in technical universities. It is defined that the work done by students on their own is the basic factor in successful achievement of the learning goals – formation of students’ multicultural personality and their communicative competence. One of the tools of such abilities development is communicative activities held by an English teacher in the classroom. Regular implementation of the communicative approach to learning forms students’ ability to self-education not only in the university but in their future career.

«Self-assessment of HIV-infection risk in women of childbearing age»
This article presents the results of a pilot research aimed at studying HIV infection risk self-assessment in women of childbearing age. The study involved 50 women. All ethical aspects in conducting studies involving human subjects were observed. According to the study design, a semi-structured interview was conducted with each participant. The interview was aimed at studying the socio-demographic characteristics of childbearing age women, their knowledge of HIV infection and ways of transmission, contraception use, and preventive measures. The data obtained during the study showed that the vast majority of women have the correct knowledge of HIV infection. For all women of childbearing age, it is important not to become infected with HIV. However, most women, including those who are at risk of HIV, do not use barrier contraception methods. Women of childbearing age who were at real HIV infection risk were also identified. Those women subjectively do not consider themselves at any risk.

«The dynamics of socio-psychological adaptation of adolescents engaged in artistic creativity»
This article presents a study of the dynamics of socio-psychological adaptation in adolescents during the course of pictorial arts. 60 teenagers aged 13 to 17 years have been participating in a longitudinal study for three years, systematically involved and not involved in pictorial art. It has been found that the creative adolescents have lower level of neuro-psychological adaptation and higher level of subjective feelings of loneliness than non-creative adolescents. But creative teenagers have significantly higher self-esteem, level of aspiration and satisfaction in achieving success and lower anxiety in relationships with adults. The influence of the creative group reflected on such personal qualities as: self-confidence, credibility among peers, ability to do things with their hands, social identity, loneliness, frustration needs in achieving success, problems and fears in relations with adults. The personal characteristics of creative adolescents have been identified. These characteristics distinguish them from others teenagers, and the effect of the creative group and creative activity indirectly on the personal qualities of adolescents.

«The experience in diagnosis and psychotherapy of students’ anxiety»
The article discusses the concept and types of anxiety, the characteristics of student age, describes the experience of diagnosis and psychotherapy of students’ anxiety during the examination session by the scientific student laboratory. The work consists of 3 stages: 1) ascertaining stage – the aim is to analyze the level of students’ anxiety; 2) psycho-corrective stage – the aim is to optimize and reduce the level of anxiety of students in the examination period; 3) controlling stage – the aim is to analyze the influence of the method of desensitization and reprocessing trauma by eye movements (EMDR) on the level of students’ anxiety.

«Analysis of stitched arrangements in belt machines»
The article describes the main parameters that determine both the traction ability of the transmission and the life of the belt, which is the magnitude of the belt tension and its correspondence to the actual transfer load. The appendix shows the characteristics of the belts and their elasticity: shortening the belt when stitching or cross stitching for pulling; periodic movement.

The article considers the problem of self-relationship as the formation of its positive orientation. Theoretical bases of understanding of self-relationship as a component of self-consciousness, self-esteem are presented. The results of an empirical research of self-attitude conducted on the sample of 1st and 4th courses students are presented. Common features in self-attitude of students have been identified. There are significant differences in the factors of self-attitude: self-interest, self-acceptance, self-guidance.

«The influence of creativity on the process of adaptation in the period of teenagers’ crisis»
This paper studies the influence of regular pictorial creativity class and the environment of creative groups on overcoming the adolescent crisis. Each of 60 students was given a battery of tests. Psychological adaptation, self-esteem and level of aspiration, identity, the subjective sense of loneliness and school anxiety have been studied. The data of descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U criterion for nonparametric tests for two independent samples has been processed. It is concluded that adolescents in non-permanent creative groups have a reduced level of neuropsychic adaptation and self-esteem and also high levels of subjective loneliness and frustration in achieving success, compared with adolescents from the constant creative and uncreative groups.

The article discusses the election of bodies of student self-government in educational institutions of higher and professional education, which can contribute to the development of civil society in Russia. While considering this issue the author used the experience of all-Russian public organizations engaged in student self-government. The executive elections are already being considering according to the submitted scheme in various educational institutions. Creation of all conditions for the election process will allow students to develop a sense of civic responsibility.

And the main idea of education was to create favorable conditions for self-education. Self-education included physical and intellectual development. And the leisure contributed to it, so did the state. The sport, libraries, literary evenings, etc begins to popularize. The article has been prepared on the basis of the analysis of the periodicals of Nizhnekamsk.

«To the question of the realization of practice-oriented approach at technical university»
The article deals with the practice-oriented approach during the teaching of Russian students of technical university. Relevance of the practice oriented approach in training of students of the technical higher education institution is proved in the article, the essence of this approach is defined. The possibilities of the educational process to realize the practice oriented approach are presented. The author focuses on the organization of practice for student which provides interrelation of theoretical and practical training of future professional staff; presents the statements which must be taken into consideration when determining the content of practical foreign lessons. The types of practical tasks are considered which are beneficial in realization of the practice oriented approach.
