He article deals with the problems of practical implementation of the requirements of the current legislation in the field of industrial safety and labor protection in respect of heat facilities (hereinafter – boilers). A number of boiler houses are classified as hazardous production facilities of hazard class III because they use equipment operating under pressure exceeding 0.07 MPa. A dangerous factor in the workplace staff is the increased noise level. Measures to neutralize this factor are in conflict with the requirements of industrial and fire safety. The lack of engineering tools to ensure compliance with hygienic standards without violating the requirements of industrial and fire safety, creates a problem that requires a scientific approach in the search for possible solutions.

Чтобы сохранить и упрочить свое рыночное положение, организации должны обеспечивать необходимое качество трудовой жизни, на которое влияют такие факторы, как уровень технологии, организация труда, стиль и методы управления производственными процессами. Поэтому поток инвестиций в человеческий капитал должен быть непрерывным. Тем не менее, практика функционирования российских организаций показывает, что в настоящее время нельзя говорить о полномасштабных инвестициях в человеческий капитал.

The monograph contains research of background radiation of the population from natural radionuclides in the premises of the Lower Volga region and presents methods of protection against the influence of natural radionuclides. Direct studies have established the absorbed dose rate of the Lower Volga region in the premises of wooden, brick and concrete buildings. The frequency distribution of the effective specific activity of natural radionuclides in building materials is analyzed. It has been established that the dose received by the body over a long period leads to more serious damage than the same dose received in a short period.
