The article considers social skills based on the polymodal approach as a means and result of the interaction of a person with social reality. The diagnostic method SUM-60 (Social skills of a personality – 60) and the results of its testing among young people are presented. The method includes a complex of social and socio-psychological skills focused on adaptive and positive behavior in the social world. The social skills analysis algorithm is proposed; their relationships with communicative and personal characteristics, value orientations, self-esteem and self-efficacy are shown.

The authors of this article reveal the issues of development of coherent speech of children of senior preschool age in the conditions of a preschool educational organization. They present the author's experience of working on the speech creativity of children by means of modern educational technologies, describe specific methods, techniques and tools in this area of children's activity. This article deals with the topical issue of development of communication skills in primary school students, which affects not only the further effectiveness of their education, but also the entire process of their personal growth and socialization as a whole.

The purpose of the study was to compare skills of mental imagery among cadets and juniors of the Greco-Roman wrestling. To achieve this goal Bump questionnaire was used as an instrument to measure the level of skills for creating mental images in the practice of an athlete. The results showed that juniors in Greco-Roman wrestling scored higher in the skills “Creating the mood of images” and “Control of the formation of images” than cadets.
