The article details the use of such modern method of training as computer simulation applied to modelling of various kinds of mechanical motion of a material point in the free spreadsheet OpenOffice.org Calc while designing physics and computer science lessons in primary and secondary schools. Particular attention is paid to the application of computer modeling integrated with other modern teaching methods.

In this article the author shares pedagogical experience of formation discursive competence of students of the faculty "Management" during the sequential action of two corresponding federal state educational standards of bachelor level, which resulted in problems of scientific research.
