The implementation of the ORG course at the SevSU sites was of a combined nature - traditional lectures complemented discussions, within the framework of which the material proposed by the relevant ministry was critically comprehended and improved. At the same time, I would like to once again draw attention to the complexity of the ideological tasks stated in the academic course, which is difficult for first-year students to perceive. This article defines the concept of artificial intelligence, what it is, in which areas it is most popularly used at the present time, how fast the process of implementing artificial intelligence is progressing, and consider the effectiveness of artificial intelligence, how it is useful to humanity.
